HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE
This training course on bookkeeping and accounting for a small business is designed to
help you take the mystery out of accounting so that you can learn to run your business
“by the numbers.” After you master keeping accurate books and preparing your
financial statements, you’ll be ready to begin using your Financial
Statements as Navigation Aids. Your personal tour guide, Ms. Mouse, will provide you with more
information, examples and quick tips. So… anytime you see Ms. Mouse, just click on her
to continue your learning adventure and then click the “x” in the pop-up
window to close it and to return to the training course. (Note: You will need a
Browser capable of running javascript such as Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 to use
these pop-up tools.)

potential customers as they drive by.
